Remember thy last end and thou shalt never sin. (Ecl 7:40)
Christ teaches us to bestow loving care upon those who are sick. He bids us to do all we can to alleviate bodily suffering and also attend to the spiritual needs of the sick and dying. In providing for the body we do not neglect the soul. In addition to calling in nurse and physician, we must call in the best of physicians, Jesus Christ. He comes to the sick with grace in the Sacraments of Penance and Extreme Unction, and gives His very Body in Holy Communion. "Our Service to the Sick and Dying" by Rev Edwin G. Kaiser
The Holy Catholic Death Apostolate was created to provide the most necessary resources needed when faced with a sick or dying loved one. We are a Traditional Catholic lay organization and all information presented here is consistent with the timeless teachings of Holy Mother Church and obedient to the dogmas of the faith. This apostolate places itself under the protection and patronage of St. Joseph whom we attribute all spiritual graces that come from this work.
Prayer to St. Joseph for a Happy Death
O Blessed Joseph, who didst yield thy last breath in the fond embrace of Jesus and Mary when seal of death shall close our career of life, come holy Father with Jesus and Mary to aid us, and obtain for us this only solace, which we ask for in that hour, to die encircled by Thier holy arms. Into your sacred hands, living and dying, Jesus, Mary, Joseph. we commend our souls, and the souls of our beloved dead, and our most in need dying friends and family. Amen. br>
